This is my blog. I know nothing of blogging, or the internet, or what I am doing here. I know what you’re thinking…. "Then what are you doing here, whacko?" Well, let me tell you what I do know. I know books, I know how to cook, and I know cakes. So I am here to share that with you.
I don’t just know books, I love them, I live them, I breathe them! I read as often as I can. I wanted to discuss books with my friends and family but they do not read often, and therefore can’t keep up with me. So I started a little book club with the aforementioned friends and family. They agreed to read 1 book a month with me. Ok they would read 1 and I would read 2…4…ok 7 (obviously 7 is an exaggeration!) This however quickly split and once again I was alone in my reading. I do have a few friends who read. But they are often too busy or do not read as quickly as I do. So I turn to you internet, to find people who enjoy the books I do, and who read as often as I do.
Originally, I started this blog to write about books. Well, it will be mainly about books, but that isn’t all I like. So I plan to share with you my thoughts and ideas. A little mish mash of everything that is me. All my little pieces…. If you will. I’m killing you with my hilarity right? No, you’re gone already? That’s cool. You’ll be back! You’ll be like "hmmm I wonder what’s up with that lady who reads 7 books a month" – I told you I was exaggerating sheesh! We can talk about recipes, and what’s going on in the world of me. You’re super excited right?... No? Well I am still going to do it!
